Raised in Peking, I am a Global Citizen who migrated across 3 continents over the past 20 years. Having started my clay journey only in 2021, I enjoy combining throwing with handbuilding techniques, to heavily modify and to leave behind deliberate traces of wheel throwing.  A scientist by training, I am foremost interested in experimenting with the fragility, resilience and mutability of our earthly materials. Future installation combining my drawings and ceramics, and using clay as a media for conceptual art to engage with the world are directions I very much look forward to.

As a founding member of the Ceramics Collective Basel Verein, I dedicate a part of my time to fostering céramophile community in the heart of Basel.
